SEAFORD BAY

Seaford Bay is on the south coast between Brighton and Eastbourne and is easily accessible by train from London with stations at both Seaford and Newhaven. The bay itself is lined with a long shelving, shingle beach stretching from Newhaven, where the boat is berthed in the West, to the magnificent white cliffs of Seaford Head to the East.

Sailing in the Bay offers excellent training conditions enjoying some protection from Newhaven Harbour and the excitement of fresh Westerlies direct from the Atlantic.

Apart from excellent sailing the Newhaven and Seaford area offers clean beaches and swimming and many local attractions.
Newhaven is a commercial port with a daily ferry link to Dieppe. You can sail over to France for the day!
